in their email as discussed above.
It is important that you give your customers the option to
opt-out of emails. There are two reasons for this option. First
of all, you do not want customers who do not wish to continue to
receive emails to get them. The opt-out option not only protects
your customers, but also your company. It may be assumed that if
you offer an opt-out that your customers will use it. Some may,
but it has been established that those customers will not be
inclined to visit your site again and so this is not a huge loss
to your company.
Any time you are considering a new innovation to your website,
you may want to send out a survey to see if your customers would
